Our Vision

familyphotoWe are a non-profit organization whose work touches thousands of lives each year through programs that promote and protect the health and welfare of all companion animals in Monterey County.

FoCAS takes a leadership role in companion animal welfare, working with city and county shelters and collaborating with community organizations throughout the county to reduce pet overpopulation, promote adoption of shelter pets and reduce the tragic euthanasia of adoptable animals.
